Over the course of our careers we've observed a consistent theme that has plagued finance functions the world over - a distinct "siloing" from the business operations and god forbid - the IT team. "Finance" for whatever reason, has stayed in the ledger.
This has brought about the birth of "business intelligence". The team unenviably tasked with trying to make sense of disparate data sources and disconnected teams. But if you're a small or even medium sized business - this is a luxury most cannot afford. Or, worse, a team exists, but their numbers are different to finance, which business leaders love…
So come on then - where is this going? How does this connect to your "story" - fine, I'll cut to the chase. In short - the current finance service offering for public and private SMEs hasn't evolved. You generally get a bookkeeper and if you're lucky, a set of stat accounts each month. This, in all honesty, is bordering on useless - in the context of trying to make informed, and timely, business decisions.
So - we are here to change that. Our CFO and FinOps services give SMEs access to scalable strategic finance capability, appropriately sized for them.
If you are at all frustrated with not being able to get what you need from your numbers, when you need it - get in touch. We'd love to help.
